Crits is a prototype for a new ranking system:

Do not rank by "popularity" but by "in need for feedback".

This extension to itch.io allows you to:

• Trade feedback
• Link to your itch.io projects
• Create surveys
• Freely configurable rating categories
• Give feedback to other to boost your own project

What is its purpose:

• Help unfinished projects to get feedback
• It allows everyone to be ranked at the top for some time - after you got feedback your project will get ranked down
• Ranking is inverse to what itch does: successful projects are ranked to the bottom, so that everyone gets its share of feedback

What it is not:

• A place for promotion - you will only get as much feedback as you can give yourself
• A place for viral marketing - the ranking algorithm is anti-viral, the more succuss, the lower a project is ranked
• A place for hosting projects, it is only a ranking list for existing itch.io projects
